These Air Fryer Sweet Potato Cubes are perfectly seasoned and tender and only take 10 minutes to cook! They make a great side dish or even snack and are perfect for meal prepping.

Making these sweet potato cubes in the air fryer is so easy! Since they're diced into small pieces (about ½ inch), they cook quickly and come out perfectly tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
How to cook sweet potatoes in the air fryer:
Cooking sweet potatoes in the air fryer is so easy! You'll want to start by coating the potatoes in oil so they get nice and crispy. I use olive oil but you can also use avocado oil or any neutral oil you prefer. The oil also helps all of the seasonings stick to the potatoes so they are all packed with flavor!

Next, you'll want to add in the seasonings. The seasonings here are easily customizable if you want to change things up but this combination is my favorite way to enjoy these. I use salt, garlic powder, and chili powder. The chili powder adds a little smokiness and just a touch of spice that really takes the flavor of these air fryer sweet potato cubes over the top!

Can air fried sweet potatoes be prepped ahead of time?
Yes! You can peel, cube, and season these a day before and just keep them in the fridge until you're ready to cook
How long to cook sweet potato cubes in the air fryer:
The total cooking time for ½ inch sweet potato cubes is 10 minutes at 400 degrees. I also like to set a timer for 5 minutes so I can shake them half way through. This will give you a more even cooking of all the sweet potatoes.

Serve the diced sweet potato cubes immediately after cooking for the best results. If they sit too long, they will get softer and lose some crispiness.
