Heat a skillet (I use a cast iron) over medium heat.
Add in the breakfast sausage and break it up into smaller bits. Cook until fully browned.
Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and combine until you see no more white. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Slowly pour in the milk and seasonings and bring to a simmer. Allow the gravy to bubble for about 10 minutes. It should be nice and thick when finished.
