Steak of choice(we like to use flank, skirts, hanger steaks or even ribeye!)
Instructions
Add all of the marinade ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine.
Add the steaks to either a zip-top bag, or a bowl and cover with the marinade. (See notes below for time)
Once ready to cook, heat your grill to high heat to get a good sear on the outside then lower to medium low and cook to your preferred temperature.
Notes
If you are using tougher cuts of beef like the flank or hanger, you can marinade much longer...think 6-18 hours. If you are using this on a more tender cut of beef, you can just marinade for 1 hour since you are not trying to break down any tough parts. Never use aluminum foil to cover a marinade. It can react with ingredients and ruin your meat. You can use a zip-top bag or a bowl with a lid or plastic wrap.
