These Easy Roasted Chicken Legs are so juicy and flavorful! The take just a few minutes to toss together and they’re ready for dinner!
The nice thing about making chicken legs is that they’re already a juicy cut of meat so you don’t need to marinade them in order to get great flavor. These are prepped in just a few minutes, tossed in the oven, and pretty much a no hassle protein.
The first step to make these easy roasted chicken legs is to spray a pan with non-stick spray and heat the oven.
At what temperature should you roast chicken legs?
400 seems to be the sweet spot. It gets the chicken legs cooked throughout in a reasonable amount of time without overly charring the outside of the legs.
The other cool thing about this recipe is that you can customize these seasonings however you’d like. This mix is what I think tastes amazing but you can always use your favorite seasonings or adjust these ingredients. I mix them with the oil to make a paste which sticks onto the chicken legs instead of just running off.
Seasoning mix for chicken legs:
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Once you’ve made your seasoning/oil mixture, you can toss the chicken legs with the mixture. I used a bowl here but totally would have been easier in a zip-top bag if I hadn’t run out!
Once coated in the seasonings, you can place them on the sprayed sheet pan, bake, and enjoy!!
Once they’re finished baking, you’ll have the juiciest most flavorful chicken legs! I like to sprinkle a little parsley over these once they’re done but that’s just personal preference for some color pop!
